The 2004 retreat was held July 22 thru July 26. Twelve moms attended retreat. We got back to what Retreat is supposed to be about, spending time together, getting to know the Angels and drinking Lewzyana coffee on the front porch! This year, Retreat was a turning point for some of us. Some opened up and shared more, some let down the walls and cried and some realized that it was okay to talk about their child! There was the Craft Show (a yearly tradition, now), dinner at the Hard Rock, the Stream and the balloon release on the mountain. The balloon release is always an emotional time for all of us. You can just stand there and imagine the Angels in the clouds just waiting for their balloon to rise so they can grab it. At Woodhaven we get a sense of peace and “being home”, because it’s at Woodhaven we’re allowed to be ourselves. Carin/Toad Lots of photos were taken and special moments captured.
